- One accountable point of contact — you deal directly with the translator doing the work, not a chain of project managers
- Subject expertise across legal, medical, technical, business, technology and marketing content
- Cultural judgement — knowing how a phrase will land with a Turkish reader, and when a literal rendering would undermine the message

Frequently asked questions
How much does English to Turkish translation cost?
Pricing depends on the length, subject matter, file format and turnaround. Certified translations of short, one-page documents start from £30 per one-page document (digitally delivered). Business, marketing and technical work is quoted per project — send me your document and you will get a fixed price before any work begins.
How long does a translation take?
Certified one-page documents are usually delivered within a standard 1–2 business days. For larger projects, I agree a realistic delivery date with you at the quote stage, and urgent work can often be accommodated depending on availability.
Do you translate in both directions?
My specialist subject areas — marketing, technology, legal, medical, technical and business — apply to English to Turkish. In the Turkish to English direction, I translate personal and official documents (with certification), subtitles and transcription. See Turkish to English translation for details.
Will a certified English to Turkish translation be accepted in Türkiye?
Many Turkish employers, schools, banks and business partners accept a certified translation from a Chartered Linguist. However, some Turkish government bodies require a sworn translation (yeminli tercüme) and the original document may need an apostille first. I will tell you which you need before you pay, so you don’t pay for the wrong service. Read more about certified vs sworn translations.
Can you work with my file format?
Yes. I regularly work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and InDesign files, subtitle files, and translation-management platforms such as Smartling. Translations are delivered in the same format so they are ready to use.
Do you use machine translation?
My standard service is human translation by a qualified translator. If volume or budget makes machine translation attractive, MTPE is available as a separate service, with full post-editing so the final text still reads naturally.
Is my document kept confidential?
Yes. All documents are handled confidentially, and I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement for commercial or sensitive projects.
