Turkish Diploma Translation UK: Certified & UKVI-Accepted
Applying to a UK university, professional body, or employer with a Turkish diploma, lise diploması, or üniversite diploması? I provide certified Turkish to English translations that are accepted by UK universities, UKVI, professional registration bodies and employers.

Why a UK-based Chartered Linguist? Every certified translation is done and signed by me personally — no subcontracting — with free correction if a UK authority rejects it and signed copies posted anywhere in the UK. Find out why it matters.
What I translate
- High school/secondary school diplomas (lise diploması)
- University degree certificates (lisans diploması) and temporary graduation certificates (geçici mezuniyet belgesi)
- Academic transcripts (not döküm belgesi / transkript) and diploma supplements (diploma eki)
- Postgraduate and doctoral certificates
- Course completion and vocational certificates
What’s included in every certified translation
- A full, accurate translation of your diploma, laid out to mirror the original document
- A signed statement of accuracy confirming the translation is a true and complete rendering of the original
- My Chartered Linguist and ITI/CIOL membership details, which UK institutions recognise
- A digital copy (PDF) as standard, with a posted hard copy available on request

Why work with me
- Chartered Linguist (CIOL) and member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) — recognised professional credentials, not just a claim of fluency
- ISO 17100:2015 qualified translator — the international quality standard for translation services
- Native Turkish speaker, over 20 years translating professionally between English and Turkish
- Direct, one-to-one service — you deal with me personally, not a project manager passing your file to an unknown freelancer
Turnaround and pricing
Prices start from £30 per one page document (applies to digitally delivered translations of short, one page documents such as diplomas, degree certificates or birth certificates), with a standard turnaround of 1–2 business days. The final price depends on the length and complexity of your diploma or transcript — get in touch with a scan of your document for a fixed quote.
How it works
- Send your document — a clear scan or photo of your diploma is enough to start; email it or use the upload form below
- Get a fixed quote — usually within a few hours, based on the length and complexity of the document
- Receive your certified translation — delivered as a PDF, with a hard copy posted if you need one
Frequently asked questions
Will this be accepted by UKVI, my university, or a UK professional body?
Yes. My certified translations follow the UK government’s standard for certified translations and include a signed statement of accuracy, my credentials, and my Chartered Linguist stamp — the format UK institutions expect. For a fuller explanation, see my guide: Certified vs Sworn, Notarised, Legalised and Apostilled.
Do I need to send the original diploma?
No — a clear scan or photograph is normally sufficient. If your target institution specifically requires sight of the original, I’ll let you know at the quote stage.
Is a certified translation the same as a notarised or sworn translation?
Not quite — a certified translation carries a signed statement of accuracy from a qualified translator. If your specific use case requires notarisation, apostille, or a solicitor’s certification on top of the translation, I can advise on the right route or refer you to the appropriate next step. For a fuller explanation, see my guide: Certified vs Sworn, Notarised, Legalised and Apostilled.
How long does the translation stay valid?
There’s no expiry on the translation itself, though some institutions ask for translations completed within a certain timeframe (commonly 6–12 months) — check with the receiving institution if in doubt.
How much does a diploma translation cost?
Certified diploma translations start from £30 per one page document (applies to digitally delivered translations of short, one page documents such as diplomas, degree certificates or birth certificates). You receive the translation as a PDF with a digital stamp and a signed certificate of translation.
Can I get a hard copy with a physical stamp and wet signature?
Yes. If you need a hard copy translation with a physical stamp and wet signature posted to you, there is an additional charge of £15 per order. Hard copy translations are sent by Royal Mail First Class 24 Hour Tracked and Signed For Delivery.
What if my document has more than one page?
Longer documents, such as full academic transcripts, are priced differently. Documents with multiple pages are priced at £0.10 per word. I’ll confirm a fixed price before any work begins.
Why should I use a qualified translator for my certified translation?
In the UK, anyone can call themselves a certified translator. If the organisation receiving your document can’t verify who translated it, they may reject it — which can mean delays and paying twice. Choosing a translator who belongs to a recognised body such as the CIOL or ITI gives your translation credentials that anyone can check.
How can I check your credentials?
I’m a Chartered Linguist and member of the CIOL (no. 42759) and a qualified member of the ITI (no. 8695). You can look me up in both bodies’ public directories, and my membership details appear on every certificate of translation I issue.
