Technology translation that keeps pace with the industry
Technology is one of my two core specialisms, alongside marketing — and the two increasingly overlap, since so much tech content is written to sell as much as to explain. I translate and localise material across artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, blockchain and crypto, mobile applications, software and SaaS, for companies ranging from global platforms to specialist software vendors.
Keeping up with a fast-moving industry means ongoing professional development — I maintain a consistent CPD record with the ITI covering emerging technology and terminology — and hands-on testing experience, having localised and tested software, apps and operating systems, not just translated the surrounding text.

- Fujitsu – localisation of the Virtual Agent customer service bot, including coding-adjacent content requiring close liaison with the product’s project manager
- what3words – monolingual testing of Turkish coding words for the geolocation platform, screening for culturally sensitive terms
