Turkish Death Certificate Translation UK (Certified)
If you need a Turkish death certificate (ölüm belgesi or ölüm kayıt örneği) translated into English for probate, inheritance, insurance claims, pension applications, or UK registry purposes, I provide certified translations accepted by UK institutions.

Why a UK-based Chartered Linguist? Every certified translation is done and signed by me personally — no subcontracting — with free correction if a UK authority rejects it and signed copies posted anywhere in the UK. Find out why it matters.

Frequently asked questions
Will this be accepted for probate or an insurance claim in the UK? Yes — the translation includes a signed statement of accuracy and my professional credentials, meeting the certification format UK solicitors, courts and insurers expect. For a fuller explanation, see my guide: Certified vs Sworn, Notarised, Legalised and Apostilled.
Do you need the physical original, or is a scan enough? A clear scan or photograph is normally sufficient. If your solicitor or the receiving institution specifically requires sight of the original, let me know and I’ll advise on the best approach.
Can you also translate related documents, like a will or inheritance certificate (veraset ilamı)? Yes — send everything together and I’ll quote for the full set.
How quickly can this be done if I’m working to a deadline? Get in touch with your deadline when you send the document — most death certificates are short and can usually be prioritised.
How much does a death certificate translation cost? Certified death certificate translations start from £30 per one page document (applies to digitally delivered translations of short, one page documents such as diplomas, degree certificates or birth certificates). You receive the translation as a PDF with a digital stamp and a signed certificate of translation.
Can I get a hard copy with a physical stamp and wet signature? Yes. If you need a hard copy translation with a physical stamp and wet signature posted to you, there is an additional charge of £15 per order. Hard copy translations are sent by Royal Mail First Class 24 Hour Tracked and Signed For Delivery.
What if my document has more than one page? Documents with multiple pages are priced at £0.10 per word. I’ll confirm a fixed price before any work begins.
Why should I use a qualified translator for my certified translation? In the UK, anyone can call themselves a certified translator. If the organisation receiving your document can’t verify who translated it, they may reject it — which can mean delays and paying twice. Choosing a translator who belongs to a recognised body such as the CIOL or ITI gives your translation credentials that anyone can check.
How can I check your credentials? I’m a Chartered Linguist and member of the CIOL (no. 42759) and a qualified member of the ITI (no. 8695). You can look me up in both bodies’ public directories, and my membership details appear on every certificate of translation I issue.
